The draw for the group stage of AlienTech AllStars has taken place, with the participating teams having been drawn into four groups. Next weekend, all eyes will be on IEM San Jose, but elsewhere AlienTech will host an international offline tournament with 16 teams and a €10,000 prize pool. Ten Portuguese teams and six foreign sides will gather at Shopping Cidade do Porto in the first edition of AlienTech AllStars, which will kick off with a round-robin group stage, followed by the single-elimination playoffs.
One of the biggest talking points ahead of the event is whether k1ck will be able to build on last weekend's victory at xFunction Iberian Championship, which their very first offline tournament since picking up former OverGaming duo Ricardo "roman" Oliveira and Christopher "MUTiRiS" Fernandes.
